Just for the record I’m not a “Paul Nutter” or anything like it. I am just suprised by the GOPs complete lack of cohesion! This incident was ridiculous.

“The police were called in and Herford was hauled off to the hoosegow, allegedly with his artificial hip broken in the scuffle.... Meanwhile, state party leaders held their own convention in one corner of the room with about 30 delegates in attendance. Local media is reporting that the minority convention also elected a slate of delegates, although it is unlikely that the legitimacy of their slate will be recognized by the RNC.

Yep. Too many people are so blinded in their hate for the latest RINO flavor that they would rather burn the entire GOP down and leave the Democrats in total control than reform the GOP delegate allocation process to put more weight on states which actually deliver electoral votes for the GOP in the fall and less on those with big populations which do not.
