Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) extolled the Democratic ground game in Wisconsin in an appearance on MSNBC Monday, and said it would launch Democratic nominee Tom Barrett to a win against Gov. Scott Walker, defying conventional wisdom that Walker is a lock to stay in office.
I do think that people have underestimated our ground game, and I think weve developed the critical mass of factors to lead us on to victory on Tuesday, said Moore. No. 1, Tom is surging with independents, such an important constituency for winning an election. Secondly, we have a number of switchers, of you know in 2010, we had 60 percent of labor voting for Tom Barrett and 40 percent for Scott Walker. Now those numbers are 80-20, 80 percent for Barrett and 20 percent for Walker.
And the 2010 voters, the Obama voters that didnt turn out in 2010, we believe that we have used the few resources that we have, you know, not necessarily to do as much TV obviously as Scott Walker has been able to do, but we have a tremendous ground game that has targeted Racine, Beloit, Kenosha, southeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee, 72 wards in Milwaukee, where there are numbers of Democrats who did not necessarily participate in 2010, and we have targeted them. And we believe that there arent any pollsters that are able to predict which of those voters, who are likely voters among those people that weve been able to touch.
Im leaving from the studio here to go out and launch yet another group of canvassers that will hit maybe the fifth or sixth time these targeted wards. So were cautiously optimistic, Moore said.
If you live in Wisconsin vote straight R tomorrow, and watch Ed Schultz's head explode.
Would a difference even be noticeable?
In Wisconsin, yes.
I just saw Gwen Moore on Hardball with Sissy Mathews
What a piece of work she is!....
I happened to run by MSNBC and stopped to watch the clown show....
Those people are seriously deranged ...
Could many will say they will vote for Barrett but will vote for Walker..
Union peer pressure... you see.. maybe even threats of violence..
With the Police, Firefighters, Givernment workers and all the teachers in UNIONS..
WHAT COULD GO WRONG?..
So does the GOP and they are ahead.
I would not want to be Ed’s dog tomorrow.
“Tremendous ground game” is ‘RAT lingo for voter fraud.
This “early voting” crap is a huge invitation to vote fraud and Milwaukee has always been really good at voting fraud.
canvassers that will hit maybe the fifth or sixth time these targeted wards.
Oh I’m sure those folks are going to love answering
the door for the fifth or sixth time.
Tremendous ground game = “friends” in the vote counting rooms.
New song “Who let the Zombies out?”
(I'm gonna get flamed again for saying that. LOL!)
A Democrat “ground game” is platoons of operatives digging up the ground in the state’s graveyards to get voters to the polls. There will be a lot of them in this election, dead folks and Illegal-Americans and Multiple-Americans. I suspect that Walker will have to win by more than 10% in the legitimate vote in order to break even in the counted vote. That applies nationally, too, or maybe is irrelevant nationally as George Soros is counting the votes in November and a fellow named Pelosi provides the voting machines.
badgerband.com this is what we will be playing at our victory celebration/hot dog bonanza tomorrow night.
I’m a poll watcher in St. Germain, Wi.
assigned to the “same day registration” table.
Do any “same days” vote R?
Wish me luck Freepers.
But Northwoods where I am isn’t nearly as bad as Milwaukee, Ground Zero Wisconsin.
Is she drinking again?
It isn't the ground game that is of concern.
It's the Underground vote that always makes the difference for democrats.
What a load of Pelosi!!!
