Elizabeth Warren insists: I would be Massachusetts first Native American senator
By Alex Pappas - The Daily Caller | The Daily Caller 19 hrs ago
Democratic Massachusetts U.S. Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren isnt backing down from her claims of Native American heritage, telling a Fox television affiliate in Boston that she would be the states first senator with Indian blood if she were to defeat Republican Sen. Scott Brown in November.
Asked by FOX 25′s Sharman Sacchetti on Friday if she would be Massachusetts first Native American senator, Warren responded: I would be their first senator so far as I know who has Native American heritage.

So far as I know, I am the great-grandson of the last Tsar of Russia. I mean, nobody ever told me otherwise.
As we learned in Logic 101, the onus of proof is upon he who asserts the positive.
"We call her Maizeholio!"
I usually don’t go on the war path until my fourth cocktail so I’m probably 1/4th Indian too by this lady’s definition.
Ben Nighthorse Campbell looks like 50% - his dad was FBI (Full Blooded Indian - sorry, got that from a pathetic Val Kilmer movie). Ben’s mom was Portuguese. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Nighthorse_Campbell
But Fauxcohontas was “careful” to limit her claim to MA, which has had a lot more Senators than other states, and also had a swatch of Injuns.
That was Iron Eyes Cody.
Like Warren, he was a fake indian. He played indians in movies and TV, but was actually Italian.
Just to give her a hard time, someone should research all the Senators from Massachusetts. With as much assimilation as has occurred, I’d be willing to bet there are at least a few who can claim 1/32nd or more.

#7 in Class one, Harrison Gray Otis, seem to have a Mohawk haircut!
I will nominate Sen Benjamin Smith (1960-62) as at least 1/32nds Native Am - of course he also resembles George Zimmerman. He finished out JFK’s term. Kept seat warm for Teddy.

If Warren wants to be viewed as an Indian, can we just call her a “Red” for short and be truthful about it?
The Irish may take umbrance to that.
Reminds me of Dan Rather's "fake but accurate" stance.
If I’m not mistaken, she’s a member of the “SLAPAHO” tribe.

I also spied many a set of high cheekbones among that lot...
I grew up in the small town (Wetumka, Oklahoma) where her parents were from. They were married Holdenville, Oklahoma in1932. Everyone in Wetumka claimed to be from some tribe of Indian. We had a number of Indian Tribes.
This one needs some owl medicine.

He would have been perfect for her campaign ads. He claimed to be of Cherokee/Cree ancestry; his real name wasn't Iron Eyes Cody but Espersa DeCorti.
Unfortunately, Hollywood didn't need another Italian/Sicilian, but he got good work as the Native American Iron Eyes Cody and maintained the fiction for the rest of his life.
Hilarious image.
