Sounds about right. 45% ride in the wagon while 45% pull the wagon.

Well, no one can accuse the American electorate of excessive brilliance.

This CNN poll is a sham. There is NO way that Romney could have a 12 point advantage with Independents and be virtually tied with Obama.

Yep. If the electorate is 40% GOP / 40% dem / 20% dim bulb independents that would make it about 52-47 for Romney at this point. Clear 5 point lead for Willard.

If CNN says it’s even that means that Romney’s up by at least five.

Anybody but Obama voters are the most energized. Likely voters is a better indicator than registered voters.

Exactly! A bunch of BS. With those numbers, Romney is really up +3 or slightly more.

Where is the link to the poll’s internals?
If an organization won’t tell you their entire polling method the poll is bogus as far as I’m concerned.

The question is wrong about energized voters or at least incomplete. How about how many people will definitely come out and vote against Obama? That’s the eye opener.

The knee-padded writer could have just altered his network’s poll a little and spared himself the ludicrous editorial.

Poll: Obama-Romney race tied;

If this is a CNN poll, and they say its tied, than probably Obama is really losing. Polls tend to produce the result the polsters want them to.

Hmmm. Wonder why they don’t show the internals? They must be really flawed to show a 3 point Obama lead when Romnwy is ahead by 12 with indies.

Did they manipulate and selectively report these polls numbers, in order to make Obama seem more popular than he really is??? Would a major news organization such as Cable News Network really do that?????????

How to interpret so much contradictory information? We hear about the war on women, so you figure women have to be going strongly for Obama. We hear that Obama cites the Golden Rule for his support for homosexual marriage, so of course religious voters are for Obama. We hear that record numbers are grappling with poverty and getting food stamps, so of course these people will support Obama because they want more government services.

To listen to the MSM, the only people who naturally support Republicans and Romney would be the hated 1% who are villified by Occupy Wall Street.

Considering all of this, how can this election be so close??? Why isn’t it an Obama landslide???????

Romney hasn’t even been nominated, and already he’s leading.

This thing has wipe-out written all over it.

Romney voters aren’t energized because for the second time the GOP has shoved pizz poor candidates at us.

Speak for yourself.

I support Mitt. He’s the (far) better choice.

There’s still plenty of time for a VP selection, so continue the criticism.
