Agree; What we do here matters. We also need to go to places that aren’t going to get the truth, if we only post here it becomes a limited circle.

70% of GM now in China? Where has all the Stimulus gone? and the only thing we see is: The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Labor Force Participation Rates remain near 30-year lows.

get a large majority in the Senate, that's where I am not as confident about Romney. I think he wins because the Democrat's results have been terrible, but I'm not convinced he is able to persuade as Newt had.

Exactly. People see for themselves. They see friends and relatives who can’t sell their houses because they are underwater.

They see friends and relatives who are unemployed or under-employed. They see people who are afraid to leave a job they hate because they might not get another one.

And then try to change their minds with statistics?

I think not.

Besides the amount of GM now in China (Does DM Now stand for General Mao??), I'd like to have somebody on these Sunday shows respond to Mr. Rattner every time he talks about Obama keeping GM out of bankruptcy:

The Private Sector Investors lost everything in GM, while the Unions kept the inflated contracts and benefits that drove Gm into BK territory in the first place. Makes the Unions look like Jon Corzine after he misplaced over a Billion (with a B) dollars of other peoples' money and then took a free walk.

We don’t hear this enough.

Too many people are lazy and ignorant enough to just blame Bush while ignoring the fact that the economy decline started when a dem congress was elected.

It is also my opinion that the economy further tanked when the smarts read the tea leaves and realized that Obama would be elected and would have both the house and senate to play with.

I think we’ll see an immediate turn around when Romney is elected without him having to do a thing, especially if we take the senate.

OH I have no doubt Scott has the cajones to get the job done. Problem is there are a hundred loop holes in the election laws here that the regime is trying to slide through. Hard to say what will happen.

"..especially if we take the senate."

How great that would be.

We need control of both houses to control Mitt. If he wins and we don't have control of both, I fear he will go on this "compromise kick"...and you know what that means.

It's a slick little game.

the game was that we wouldn't find out just what they had done in China since most here are incredibly myopic.

It ain't working. The sad thing is that if the regime really had cared about jobs, especially union jobs here, all they had to do was convince the unions that either they cut wage rates and bennies in half or suffer the consequences. As it turns out the unions are suffering the consequences while China gets their jobs. Almost unbelievable!

If this gets out union money may start drying up for the regime. We won't get it but the left won't get it either. It will all be spent locally.

...get a large majority in the Senate, that's where I am not as confident...

JMHO, even the long-term "safe blue state" types have got to be seriously sweating November out. Most particularly the Senate seats and the first-termers (counting our very own Johnboy tester as the prize prototype) as such rich targets, they're almost laughable.

Just put yourself in tester's shoes for a bit:

1)His voting record couldn't be any worse if he'd stayed away from DC and let Reid vote for him. Can't run on that.

2)Wanna talk economy...or gas prices...or home values...or taxes...or jobs...or energy... Well, that's a whole bunch of Gong Show entries or bait for any opposing ad just waiting to happen. (Especially with the Bakken and Keystone project both sitting up in the corner of the state.)

3)Then there's DNC campaign support and coattails/support from The 0. ....I guess a moment of silence is in order here in lieu of hanging crepe on anything.

4)Well, there's always the ever-reliable media. If you ignore their circulation (rapidly diminishing), credibility (see circulation above) and general economic strength (must be approaching that of Solyndra, but that information is classified tighter than the Launch Codes).

As things stand right now, all of tester's ads have been either the Oh-I'm-Just-This-Good-Old-Guy schtick (complete with a return to his ten-dollar haircut and most carefully battered boots) or I-Am-The-Best-Provider-For-Our-Veterans.

The only problem with the latter ploy is that all of the cast his ads show are the same ones he's used (along with every other 'rat in recorded memory), and this rendition tends toward most of the cast having looks that almost scream "I sure hope the guys at the Legion Post don't see this ****, or I'm never going to be able to come back from Arizona for a visit again."

I'd bet that this scenario can be applied pretty much on a national basis. Check your local guy for a comparison.

If we get a large majority in the Senate it will be because of Palin and others like her.

You are right. I believe it was Rush that commented on that the other day that right after ozero won the market tanked and tons of money came out of many investments.

If Romney wins FL in a close election the obama DOJ is going to sue claiming “discrimination”. What a mess that will be if it changes the outcome of the election.

I am not sure it’s worth poking this voter roll hornets nest with the marxists holding the levers of power in DC.

right after ozero won the market tanked

Actually, the market began to tank hard in the crisis of Fall '08.

This is because investors saw a socialist taking the lead in polls. They saw cap and trade, tax hikes, bank nationalizations, military weakness and EPA Gestapo tactics on the horizon.

As investors pulled out the housing bubble burst. Obama is fully to blame for the '08 disaster, not Bush.
