Causation vs. Correlation fallacy. Shopping at Whole Foods doesn’t make one a jerk. Jerks just shop there a lot.

Nailed it.

I've long pointed out to my kids, when at Whole Foods, how likely you are to be rammed into by another shopper or encounter an aisle blocked by another cart, because it's loaded with liberals who are incredibly self absorbed. We even had another car back into our parked vehicle, and do you think this "caring, morally upright" liberal left a note? I don't think I need to answer that.

In truth, so long as you wash your food, it's just about the same as organic because few pesticides are systemic and fertilizers simply provide Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus and it doesn't matter how they're applied, that's what the plant uptakes.

Agreed. We've eaten organic food for thousands and thousands of years. Not everybody born before fertilizer was a jerk.
