I write to ask an honest question.
Should we vote for those conservative canidiates who are running for the USA House and Senate, thus having conservative majorities that will thus be able to put the feet of a President Mitt Romney to the fire in order to get very important and needed changes done for the good of this country?
I write this not out of FEAR anymore, which by the grace of God I have been given, PEACE of mind, but as a REALIST who KNOWS that in most likelyhood, Mitt Romney WILL more likely be the next President of the United States since it is in BIGTIME TROUBLE to begin with.
Plus the reality is that a re-elected Barack Obama WILL attack the Christian churches, including the RC Church.
The one last question I do have is, will a Mitt Romney even attack the Christian churches, because I have NOT once heard of anything happening in MA while he was governor?
There are attacks and there are “attacks.” That Mexican President attacked the Church militarily and given what we see in Obama, we worry that he might too. OTOH, Romney did his damage legislatively by forcing the Church to either support his policies or face civil and/or criminal prosecution.
Which is worse? In Mexico the death toll is believed to be about 90,000 souls. I don’t know the official numbers but in Mass. the number of babies killed for $50 (for free now!) is probably much higher.
The difference? No one heard the babies scream.
The executive is one branch of government. It cannot pass legislation, only sign or veto it.
If we have a conservative legislature passing conservative bills, I believe there is a good chance Romney will sign.
I know for certain Obama will not.
