Great post. Liberals always have a difficult time with religion because they struggle to acknowledge a Being greater than themselves that must be obeyed and worshiped. In substitution, they make liberalism their religion.

In this case I’m less incensed, because Mitt has shown himself perfectly willing to let others be attack dogs on issues he does not personally press, e.g. Trump in the Obama NBC issue. This is not ideal. But it’s better than McCain whose cat even got Sarah Palin’s tongue.

Jesus is the desire of nations, but the desire of (just) women? A bit odd to me. I’d have to check the original Hebrew before concluding that this can not be speaking of an actual desire of women for men. Disregarding that desire would sure fit a gay man. But Barack Obama shows that modern people are willing and even eager to put up with trash as their leaders. Whoever this person is, he likely won’t have a problem getting elected.
