That 91-year-old vet did not get knocked off the rolls. He was sent a letter requesting that he confirm his info. Why? Turns out — and he admits to this now — that way back in the day, he lied about his age to the DMV so that he could get his driver’s license two years early. So, his DMV records did not match up with his voter registration record. It is reassuring that this raised a red flag and that FL followed up on it.

You ruined a perfectly good liberal-style knee-jerk outrage for (gasp) an attempt to disenfranchise a ELDERLY VET! The only box not ticked was race! /s

This shows the system was working and his more than 70 year old lie finally caught up with him.
