NEWARK — Congressional hopeful Donald Payne Jr. came under fire from his primary opponents today after a You Tube video surfaced showing Newark police escorting a caravan for his campaign last weekend.
Payne Jr., the Newark City Council president, is locked in a heated Democratic primary battle for the 10th Congressional district seat, which was vacated when his father, Rep. Donald Payne Sr. died in office in March.
