I don’t know any here, on Free Republic that would condone these heinous acts. But what do I know, I only been here for about 8 years.

Neither can I, for I would surly be banned. Suffice to say I would slip off the mantel of civilized behavior for awhile and drape it over the back of a chair.
Sadly, I’ve seen Freepers defend the right of animal torturers to do what they want with their “property”. There are also those ready to suggest how to off neighbors’ cats and to joke about ways that cats should be exterminated.
They are of course in the extreme minority of posters here, but such animal threads have sometimes been a magnet for disgusting Freeper comments.
