Is Bloomberg a mayor or a dictator? Getting hard to tell the difference...

“It’s for your own good” sounds so good, and is the death knell of freedoms and liberties.

You know what's good for me? Freedom. Freedom is what's good for me.

So can people buy two medium sizes at once - if not, will they get their hand stamped so they can’t buy one medium size and then come back and buy another - where does it end?........

Keep it up, Bloomberg. I say more power to you. They elected you, right? Keep it up until the 10-15% of the populace who still has their sanity decides it’s time for a violent overthrow.

Just give them time. Soon they will be banning the multiple sales of smaller drinks.

LOL! "First they came for my Big Gulp..."

"Can you imagine someone from 1970 with a time machine reading this article? They would wonder just what the hell happened here."

Actually, 1970 is the precise year the law was passed banning cigarette advertising from TV and Radio. There were at least a few people then who said exactly what the hell was going to happen here.

They were soundly ridiculed.

The measure would not apply to diet sodas

I'll have the < wink, wink> diet Coke.

After that works for a couple of years, Bloomberg will have the police train dogs to sniff sugar.

So if you order a 24 oz Diet Coke, yet fill it with Regular Coke at the self-serve area, what will actually happen?

Drone strike?

Next they’ll make soft drink makers liable for damages for any customer who gets diabetes or a heart attack.

Do it Libs. Create another black market that you can skim money from you human pieces of crap.

Keep it up and don’t come asking me, in Tennessee, for money when everyone tells you to shove it or leaves NY. And if you want to use union violence to force people, then don’t whine when you get shot.

Go to hell you left wing retarded morons.

Unbelievable. Just as ridiculous as the soda ban, is that fruit juices and diet drinks aren’t included. Mega sized fruit juices are pretty much just as bad as soda in terms of sugar/fructose content. Diet drinks aren’t much better. I can’t wait for my local gov’t to pull a similar silly-assed stunt.

What’s incredible is how little resistance and anger this insulting, moronic law will provoke - just like the hundreds of other legal and bureaucratic impositions our politicians inflict on us these days. People get the government they deserve. We’re devolving into a nation of baffled, uncomprehending children.

The measure would not apply to diet sodas, fruit juices, dairy-based drinks like milkshakes, or alcoholic beverages;

Wouldn't want to ban the 40's, would we?
