But surely you can’t be so harsh as to banish him to the Northeast. He might end up liking it there, and then there’s no hope. Why not send him to the Northwest, in case he snaps out of it? That way, if he doesn’t, at least he can move to Portland where he’ll be among his own kind. But if he does, he can buy a few acres in the woods, start wearing flannel shirts and wielding a chainsaw, and eventually come back to himself.
But I don’t see that much to like about the Northeast, though. Except maybe a few interesting places like Mystic Seaport, or the USS Constitution in Boston or the USS Constellation in Baltimore, or the nice green hills around Morristown, NJ, or ...
Never mind. Northwest it is. He can get rained on every day until he comes to his senses.
