“proclaim”
Obama vows, pledges, words that sound hopeful.
Romney proclaims, like boasting.
I hate the media.

The United States now has two paths forward, Romney said. He called one "the pathway to Europe," suggesting Europe had acquiesced to geopolitical threats. "To shrink our military smaller and smaller to pay for our social needs." The other path, Romney said, is "to commit to preserve America as the strongest military in the world, second to none, with no comparable power anywhere in the world."
Someone remind me again how Romney is exactly like Obama? Because, as far as this active duty E6 can tell, the only commitment Obama has made to the military has been to shrink it.

“Look, I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. Im not trying to return to Reagan-Bush.”
I was not planning on signing up for the military, It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam.
My hope is that, after this election, it will be the moderates of both parties who will control the Senate, not the Jesse Helms.”
“These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”

I tell you what E6, my son is in the military too. I’m voting for Romney, I’m not going to leave any soldier as their CIC. All the arguments to bash Romney are null and void with this point. I don’t think highly of Romney, maybe that will change. This is where were at. The high and mighty might as well vote for Obama, and make a statement.

I dont think highly of Romney, maybe that will change. I have every intention of voting for Romney. If he keeps making intelligent, articulate comments like he did in this article that demonstrate he actually has a clue, I may not even have to hold my nose.

That is what Wee Willie Mitty said in the 1990s
But in 2008 he said “I always wanted to go off to Vietnam and “represent” our country...”
and also in 2008 about his FIVE grown boys he said...
“Just like the soldiers in Iraq, my boys are serving their country. Theyre working in my campaign for POTUS.”

Mitt Romney on homosexualizing the military.
One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clintons dont ask, dont tell, dont pursue military policy.”
“I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.

IN THE NAVY Where can you find pleasure, search the world for treasure, learn science, technology? Where can you begin to make your dreams all come true on the land or on the sea? Where can you learn to fly, play in sports or skindive, study oceanography? Sign up for the big band or sit in the grand stand when your team and others meet. In the Navy, yes, you can sail the seven seas. In the Navy, yes, you can put your mind at ease. In the Navy, come on now people, make a stand. In the Navy, can't you see we need a hand. In the Navy, come on, protect the motherland. In the Navy, come on and join your fellow, man. In the Navy, come on, people, and make a stand. In the Navy, in the Navy. They want you! They want you! They want you as a new recruit! If you like adventure don't you wait to enter the recruiting office fast. Don't you hesitate, there is no need to wait; they're signing up new seamen fast. Too bad he won’t do one of the necessary things and re-instate DADT.
Allowing Homos to openly serve in the military is weakening our Military.
