Yes, a report of “Pitbull” spotted alive and well would lend more credibility to a shoot-first approach here, all other facts could be discarded by responders. Should have called out swat team if a dog was reported to have resembled a “Pitbull” per hearsay. That would add up. Fear: primed/reason discarded. SHOOT! Sounds abt right.
