Something about this story does not sound right. What US General would be authorized to alert the enemy through the media we have been surreptitiously inserting special forces into a country we have no formal war with.Who authorized him to announce this?

I agree. One would think dropping troops/commandos in foreign and hostile territory would be far more clandestine.

But then, Democrats have always been hazardous to HUMINT assets' health. (Maddy Halfbright losing a computer or two comes to mind.)
