Thank you for your post.
Is it our increasing years and accompanying understanding of fallen world, brokeness, heartache, losses, etc.; or is it the times we live in, societal chaos, etc., that brings home just how horrific was the Civil War?
Even the best documentaries make the war so clean and neat, and glorious... Not so, was it.
We can “survive” such a military conflict, but can we survive the rebellion against God in our nation?

We must never forget that victory to the rebellion meant death to the Republic.

Um, if you say so.

The republic died in that war, the ascendancy of FedGov™ goes back to the Civil War.
