Do you really need a cantilever mount for a SCAR?

I have a EOTech red dot but can’t use it for long distance. Couldn’t bring myself to spend another $500 for the magnifier so I bought a cheap ass $50 paint gun magnifier and it works fine. Had to modify it a little on the belt grinder to make it fit the Picatinny rail but it’s not bad.

Yes and no.

Getting it to switch back and forth between the long distance scope and EOTech red dot at the range when using the folded stock and a one point sling. Better be good for what Bobro is asking for them. They say they are “precision”.
