General Colin Powell said on Wednesday that he supports gay marriage, representing a turning point for the former secretary of state and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
"I have no problem with it," Powell told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in an interview. "In terms of the legal matter of creating a contract between two people that's called marriage, and allowing them to live together with the protection of law, it seems to me is the way we should be moving in this country. And so I support the president's decision."

Homosexual relationships are tolerated and condoned now, where once they were not, but now that isn’t enough.
Now Powell and other liberals, and libertarians—and the GOPee—want us to ratify and support homosexual unions—they ask for general acceptance (of the farce) of two men together as a couple (or two women) with one being the `husband’ and the other the `wife.’
People of the same sex do not `marry.’ It stands logic on its head. And this isn’t just Powell. This is the position of the Republican party, with Romney leading.
