You know the 500 is really just too darn fast, totally different from a major superspeedway NASCAR race. You blink and the Indy is over nowadays, I also have to remember to allow extra time for my race recordings, especially extended rain delays!
What is the worst is when recording a race postponed the next day, its not listed so I have to create a manual timer.
I have been waging a private war against commercials for years, I even at one time years ago experimented with recording a race, playing it to record on the old VHS and then manually editing out all the commercials, now I can just plug in my little digital timer to my remote by a USB plug and when a commercial break occurs I hit my preset interval jump time of say 4 minutes and 5 seconds and it passes all the commercials, used to be on the Dish remote you can jump but its not by much, only about 30 seconds.
