Very true. It was like pulling teeth for my brother to get an
excused absence for his son from the indoctrination centers. On the same subject, he said they asked him four different times when his son moved to live with him if he had any
special education needs. Extra money to be had there also. Same can also be said about reduced cost lunches (which for some unfathomable reason - you don't even have to prove a need to qualify at his district). Thankfully though, noone abuses it. /sarc
As an aside, he graduated this year and is confortably right of center. Most of his friends are too, I think the continuous liberal drumbeat in the public school may be beginning to backfire (we can hope).
