Conservative blacks know that civil rights truly are rights that belong to people on the basis of the moral equality of being created by God. That fact ended up being the deciding factor that changed the minds of most Americans, not any Civil Rights Act passed by Congress. Homosexuality is anything BUT moral to them. They view it as a direct conflict to the morality that assured their civil rights.
