Anybody know the racial demographics of Texas, both in 1836 (independence) and at statehood (1845)?

It’s important to wake up and see the dynamics at work here, and not have our heads in the sand pretending this is just “more of the same.”
Massively, almost totally American, like 84% to 97% American, remove the slaves from that count and you will see how the voters of early Texas created a nation, and then the greatest state in America.
