Obama and the democrats have been building a platform out of bullshit for years. It’s piled so high now that they can’t stand on it so they have to resort to class warfare, race baiting, and character assassination. That’s all they have.

At this event, held before an enthusiastic crowd of 2,500 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Obama reminded the crowd that Romney said “corporations are people,”

They ARE people, moronobama. If corporations are NOT people, why did Obama steal from bondholders and taxpayers to bail out General Motors CORPORATION and the Chrysler CORPORATION?

There is something about this continual tactic of projection that has a ridiculous note. The cow pie is in the eye of the beholder. In this case, it’s queer eye for the cow pie.

Obama reminded the crowd that Romney said “corporations are people,”

Obama is giving Romney a huge opening here. This is so easily flipped that only tone deaf Republicans could miss the opportunity, and I suppose we will. Romney needs to say:

... so, in response to Mr. Obama's latest rantings, are corporations people? My answer is simple. We as individuals have inalienable rights, given by God. We hold those rights as a matter of natural law, and they are reflected in the design of our constitution. Those rights are inherent. We do not surrender them when we come together in voluntary organizations.

So, are corporations people? Let me ask you this. More importantly, let me ask Mr. Obama this. Are churches people? Are civic organizations people? Are schools, nonprofit organizations, political groups, and other private associations people? Or does Mr. Obama think we surrender our God given rights when we gather together?

That's not a casual or careless question. This president is engaged in the most heinous assault on religious liberty in at least the last 150 years, and perhaps in American history. He clearly doesn't think that Christian churches are people. He's an advocate of comprehensive and onerous government controls on political speech. He would probably concede that freedom of speech gives you the right to say whatever you want in the privacy of your own living room, but the moment we come together as a group in the public square, he demands the power to dictate the terms, conditions, and amount of our speech. He clearly doesn't think that advocacy and political groups, including political parties, are people.

This president and the party he represents are militantly determined to micromanage the affairs of voluntary and civic organizations of all kinds; they seem to think that constitutional liberties are fine as long as we remain hidden in the catacombs, but the moment we step into the street, we are utterly creatures of government. That is the issue.

It needs to be wordsmithed, but you get the gist. This can be reversed and driven as a wedge at any number of overreaching lefist presumptions. The democrats are the slavery party. We are the liberty party, and we shouldn't be afraid to sound the trumpets.

I’m infuriated by that nonsense. Corporations are “persons” not “people”. The corporate person is what has legal status. But dumb lawyers and stupid economists like our president continue to ignore that corporations are composed of and deal with people - leadership, employees, investors, customers.

I am a big fan of the Citizens United decision. You either let the Koch brothers spend all they want to defend American prosperity or you deny John Corzine the right to spend $60 million to buy a Senate seat and a similar amount to buy a governorship. You either let corporations spend what they want or you deny unions the right to spend and activate their troops.

“Several people in the crowd yelled back: “We love you!””

That’s what people in a courtroom at a sentencing say to their loved one as he is led out of court and taken to jail.

Time for somebody to resurrect the Reagan v. Carter debate tape, and run it as an ad for Romney:

"Ask yourself, 'Are you better off now than you were four years ago? Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was?”

Idiots. Iowa is not exactly a big dairy state. But then Obama probably doesn't know what a cow pie actually is.
