It was independents and cross over democrats who put Romney over the top. Blame open primaries and a dirty smear campaign by Romney's goon squads.
Florida does not have open primaries. That is where Mittens got the surge and where Newt sat on his laurels of the SC win. The reality is that too many people still watch network TV and Mitt’s Super PACs knew it and used it to bamboozle the out of touch electorate.
It always goes back to education. With that I’ll add that some of the most educated people I know couldn’t pour piss out of their boot with directions on the heel.
