At least four key witnesses have changed their stories about what they saw the night George Zimmerman fatally shot Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., the Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday. The report comes after state prosecutors released about half the evidence they have in their second-degree murder case against Zimmerman. The witnesses, known publicly only by numbers, first talked to Sanford police and later to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and state prosecutors Witness 2: A young woman from the Retreat at Twin Lakes community, where Martin, 17, was shot Feb. 26, first told investigators she saw two men running and a fist fight. She later said she only saw one person running and couldnt distinguish much because she had removed her contact lenses. Witness 12: A young mother in the townhome community first said she saw two men on the ground but wasnt sure who was on top; she later said Zimmerman was on top because she recognized his size based on news reports. Witness 13: A male neighbor first said Zimmerman, with a bloodied head, told him he had to shoot Martin because he was beating up on me, and to please call Zimmermans wife. He later went into detail and described Zimmermans tone right after the shooting as casual, like the shooting was nothing. Witness 6: A male neighbor, whose story change was initially reported Friday, first told police Martin was on top of Zimmerman and throwing down punches mixed martial arts style. He also first said Zimmerman was calling for help. The man later said he wasnt sure who was yelling for help, and that Martin may have merely pinned Zimmerman to the ground. He was still sure, however, that Martin was on top.

If stories keep changing then more and more reasonable doubt appears.
During depositions it will come out what influence the change.
Also, police are notorious for putting views INTO the minds of witnesses. “so you saw the unarmed innocent kid on the bottom? yes?”
Particularly true when you have anti-second amendment cops denied an arrest by operation of law.
So she watched TV and changed her mind?!? Well thats just really reliable.
[[After all, there is a publicly made, unrescinded proclomation of a price on the head of Zimmerman. And NO local, state or federal law enforcement official has taken steps to arrest those who made this widely trumpeted death threat.]]
NOR will they do much to arrest asnyone that colelcts on that bounty- all of a sudden, they will all be ‘stumped’ about hte evidence that might be available to htem concerning the bounty hunter-
If Zimmerman is convicted after this bull crap arrest, we are all no longer goign to be able to defend ourselves agaisnt Criminals- especially if they are black- we will simply have to lie there and allow them to bash our brains out agaisnt the sidewalk so that we don’t offend them
Seemsl iek everyone inviolved in this cvase has ‘changed their minds’ along hte way- At first, even trayvon’s own father said the voice ion the tape wass ‘definatyely not’ his son’s voice- then the mother changed her mind, now even the eyewitnesses are cdhangign hteir minds- the only ones NOT changing hteirm inds are the prosecution- they are hhell bent on taking away our right to defend ourselves
Good old “Chicago Way” witness tampering.
—Exactly. Those “witnesses” .. no matter into which directed they changed their accounts.. have put the dagger to the much of the prosecutors’ case.—
And the one (#6) who’s testimony really matters in order to help Z was not really changed all that much. In essence, he said he could not “see” which man was screaming, but he saw who was on top and is not changing that. And that is supported by the claim of Z and the physical evidence.
I do find it interesting that the articles quote him on who he saw screaming, but paraphrase him on not being sure if the beating was happening. I find it interesting that “punching MMA style” got changed to “maybe he was just holding him down”. That makes no sense.
Zimmerman is another victim of Obama’s race war. I would like to see Obama lose this treacherous game.
No. We follow the hunter's maxim. Kill them. Bury them. Don't talk about it. The herd will be thinned out in a very healthy way.
And whitey just takes it w/o any opposition. What has happened to us & this once great nation? The whites allowing this are truly embarrassing.
Yes,Yes. Don't put much faith in the white folks. Pathetic.
Perhaps I'm out of touch, but can you explain what that means?
Mixed Martial Arts- a combo of wrestling, boxing and submission holds. Some of them end with one guy straddling the other guy’s chest and punching his face until the ref stops the match.
They may just be numbers now, but eventually they will be revealed by name in court. I imagine they are fearful and who can blame them?
If Zim was on top would he have suffered the injuries he did? Wouldn’t Treyvon have more than scraped knuckles?

Testimony where you don’t know the implications of what you say should be given more weight. If you know that a certain line is needed to support an agenda then it is less reliable than if you just say what you saw.
“Wait till Zimmerman files the lawsuit.....”
Winning 50 million is a lawsuit is nice.
Donating half of it to the Romney campaign is the ultimate smackdown.
Sorry ‘bout my muddled text... meant to say... “dagger to the heart of much of...”
And I completely agree with you said, as well.
I could like your posts, but the third grade spelling really takes a lot away from it, are you mad at “spell check” too?
Your spelling is terrible, near childish, eats up any credibility, too bad, looks like good intent.
The Sharpton crowd knows they won’t get a conviction; they’re moving on to the civil trial portion of this case, where money will be at stake. There is considerably more at stake also, in terms of political capital and idealogical warfare. Similar to OJ Simpson getting acquitted for murder but in civil court, was held as responsible as the plaintiff could get from OJ.
Bonfire of the Vanities in real life
