And so here we all are instead of endeavoring to lead a fulfilled life and see the dream of MLK become a reality now get tripped up by debating a basic biological function called ‘marriage’. 21 centuries later and mankind is still amazingly stupid. Some ‘evolvement’ ay?
I get confused as to why an organization, supposedly dedicated to advancement of black people, civil rights for black people, etc., is weighing in at all on the homosexual marriage debate.
Has the National Abortion Rights Action League weighed in on “civil rights” for illegal aliens, for example? Why would a group which is dedicated to a particular cause see the need to endorse some other liberal cause?
Or is this a case of some liberal group, trying to prove that they are still relevent, by supporting some other liberal cause?
