I’ve come to notice...stories like this will end up on the major networks...after about ten days. I think most of the reason for this is the length of time it takes to figure a slant that makes sufficient sense to the remaining viewers they have.

It’s like the Today Show. Typically, it take typically five days for them to have a fairly big political story appear. Stories like ships sinking or coal mine accidents are fairly simple to tell....within hours after they occur.

I’d almost put the Today Show at the same level as these reality shows (Goldrush or Axemen). It’s fairly fake but they try their best to make it seem real.
