My understanding is that both parents of the potential POTUS or VPOTUS must be citizens of the USA.

The point that I tried to make, in support of New Jersey Realist (post 57) is that there is no requirement that the PARENTS of the NBC in question must be born in the USA.

The "Certificate of Live Birth" that was released by obama shows his mother to be 18 years old. Looks as if they tried to cover this one.
