ant-tank gun?
um. okay. Most reporters don’t know the difference between a pistol and an a machine gun.
Police said the anti-tank gun had been fired, but did not say where or when.
A BB gun and a replica 9mm handgun were also found in the apartment.
ping
The video they link to shows a shoulder fired rocket launcher. The story says it “had been fired”.
The whole story seems pretty shady.
Someone was arrested over an empty tube , a bb gun and a toy/replica 9mm pistol? Sounds like normal toys we would have been playing with in the 1960’s or 70’s as children.
Ummm... okay... what TYPE of AT gun? We talking an arty cannon? 75mm PAK? RPG7? Javelin? Soviet 45mm?
RPG7 and Javs can be discarded without a charge and are essentially useless except as a souvenir. Most larger AT GUNS are towed by a vehicle and generally not suitable for infantry use.
Any burning tanks or blasted out walls within range? Or are the cops idiots.
A BB gun
A BB gun in the apartment? Call in UN peacekeepers.
The story links to this video (which doesn’t have anything to do with the story) but it shows an M136 AT4 (light anti-tank weapon)

In fact from what I’m reading the tube is intended to be tossed aside after use.
Sounds like they got their hands on an expended tube, from an AT4.
Probably more dangerous than the awful BB gun that was siezed...but only if you swing it at someone.
Terribly written article.
a used launcher that is worthless as a weapon
AT4. Dummy, used for training purposes. Somehow the kid got it, but in no way would that thing ever be able to fire anything. Typical over-reaction by retarded reporters.
Maybe they found enormous wads of chewed paper.
Thank God they caught him in time. LOL
or some poor building might have been spitwadded! A catastrophe was averted.
Correction: a used launcher that is NOT a weapon.
I smell a lawsuit in San Francisco’s near future.
AT4 M136 Tube Perfect Shape
Nothing more than a throw away empty tube that can
be purchased from surplus.
