We're at Stage IV -- terminal cancer.
DC goes AC, what’s new?
If they make either Batman or Superman “gay” that’s the end for these comics.
I hope this is not true. But, since liberals love to tarnish and destroy anything uniquely American, it might be. A pox on the sleazes running DC Comics...so glad I stopped buying new comics years ago. I’ll stick to back issues where heroes were heroic, morality was not ‘nuanced’ and supermen were...men, not Bawney Fwanks who insist on informing the world about how they choose to use their private parts and then demanding that world approve of that usage.
Perhaps Krypton never exploded...the race but for Kal-El just died out because they were all homosexual.
And as little boys we always thought he was using his x-ray vision to look through women’s clothes! Silly us.
Let’s see. . .renounced his US citizenship in favor of becoming a citizen of the world. . .yup. . .saw this coming. . .
(Seems I recall he was going to renounce in favor of the UN. . .did he actually follow through on that or was the backlash too harsh?)
Oh. . .and with his “buns of steel” he will likely be the pitcher not catcher. . .I’m guessing.
Eventually they will learn that being fully “out” in the military, having the name “marriage” attached to their relationships, getting many gay oriented television shows and hosts accepted, having gay comics, etc. ...none of it will change whatever it is that is causing them angst. And this is not only because of being “gay”, but for all people who think that they will be “happy” once they get the desired car, find the right job, win the lottery, have children to cure a troubled marriage. People who chase after externals in a drive to find what is lacking in them, find out that once they get “it” that they are still the same sorry, struggling, empty individual they always were. What is lacking is something inside, not baubles and applause from the outside.
When a character and all his actions are defined primarily by a sexual act, haven’t we crossed the boundry into pornography?
That’ll finish DC Comics.
