Navarra in €1.7bn tax inquiry

The Spanish tax authorities are stunned, and they have every reason to be so. A discovery of a tax maneuver involving Volkswagen’s car production in the small region of Navarra in northern Spain, has disclosed that the region is indirectly funded by the central government in Madrid through tax returns that add up to 10 percent of the region’s yearly budget.

Yet another evidence of how the Spanish National government oppresses the Basque people flooding their regions with cash.

(The Basque region and neighboring Navarra have a different taxation system than the rest of Spanish regions, which allows them such tricks.)

Cash is the dirty big secret behind all these weird European Regions ... and Northern Ireland ...

The Basques, The Tyrolers, The Dalmatians, the Catholics in Northern Ireland ... don't really want to beak awy from anybody or k=join anyone else ... they just want to keep the patoffs coming for "keeping the peace."

Indeed, in a world in which services have substituted goods in many fields, a VAT above 8-9% clearly favors fraud.
