trebb says, "Finally - someone with some sense and perspective. Romney sucks, but those who prefer to let Obama have a cakewalk in the election are delusional - I can picture Obama’s minions rubbing their hands with glee as they observe the chaos Satan has wrought."

Your reference to "Satan" would give someone the idea that you were a believer in God. But the first part of your statement indicates that you believe God is Powerless to Save the Soul of the Republican Party in this Hour. Indeed, what chaos Satan has wrought inside of your own head.

There is an option other than Romney or Obama. Only Satan would enforce this delusion that our choice is limited in that way.

If we want a GOOD choice, we can pray for it, and God will give it to us. Help thou my unbelief.

To help you sort things out, I would invite you, tribb, to please join the daily vigil in giving Jim Robinson's prayer every day unto the August 27, 2012 convention.

I have to admit you may be right, but I don't believe God is powerless in anything. I'm not so sure He actually cares about saving the soul of the Republican Party or any other. He has told us we will sink into chaos and Satan will seem to prevail before the final times. Just as Jesus HAD to die for our sins, the decline HAS to happen. I appreciate the loving way you decided to respond and will reevaluate my mindset. I gave myself to Christ at a later age (52) and have had my outlook/opinion change much over the last 8 years. I understand that what seems right and Christian to my mind is not always so. I also know that the Great Deceiver is always hard at work to do the damage he does. I have resigned myself to being conflicted, even in that which I am "sure" of and will continue to pray for His discernment and for more like you to pose arguments in a less hostile way than so many of the "Christians" seem to do. God Bless.
