The weapon is used by some of the “bad guys” and “good guys” in one or two of the early “The Corps” series by W.E.B. Griffin, probably my favorite author, when several of the characters were “China Marines” prior to World War II. He also goes into the M1 Garand vs. Springfield arguments and talks about the Boys Anti-tank rifle and BAR as they relate to the Makin Island raid and Guadalcanal.

It is a historically important firearm and a lot of fun to shoot.

I loved the Corps series, in fact I have them all. He is a great writer of military events.
