I don’t think that’s bad advice, dfw, but that is not how the republican party was formed, so it’s not 100% accurate.
A party being built needs to be at all levels, but, let’s face it, the presidential campaign gives a party great visibility.
Other than that, it would be dishonest for me to disagree with the idea of continuing the push by the party for local, district, and state-level candidates.
Also a new party is going to need some high-profile defections from the other parties....Goode isn’t exactly a household name.
