One of the great debates when talking handguns has always been stopping power. Greg Ellifritz, of Active Response Training, decided to get test the theories out, and extensively tested multiple calibers. Read more on what Ellifritz found at http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/7866.
Its a huge gun rights win in Calexico, CA this month, led by The CalGuns Foundation and lawyer Jason Davis. A case that began in 2010 with a shotgun in the back seat ended with a settlement for the defendant and a training bulletin for law enforcement. Davis visits on Sunday with more on the wine. Read about the case at http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=572381.

Pow!
Man, I listened to this earlier driving home from Brenham.
Awesome good show, I’ll need to pay more attention to it.
I've been wanting one for a very long time, but am overwhelmed by the number of manufactures and variants.
I think one could be a great multipurpose tool and toy, but with so many choices, I'm not sure who and what to avoid.
Any suggestions?

I’ll be here until 9pm. Tom Selleck’s new “Jesse Stone: Benefit of The Doubt” Mystery Series Movie is on CBS-TV, his 8th of the series, and I have to watch and record it.

RANGE REPORT
Shot the new SCAR 17 this week. It’s so damm loud it’s hard not to flinch. However, it’s also so smooth to shoot it’s hard to tell the difference between it and the AR15...maybe has a little more pop on the shoulder but not much after 100 rounds. The trigger pull is awesome! it hits around 1/8th or less a pull. The open sights are so cool too, it’s like a peep inside a peep and very unique. The mags are delight too, you don’t need a Lula Loader of anything. One drawback is they only make 10 & 20 round mags, they need a 30 rounder like the FN FAL has. The other drawback is they are way overpriced. Can’t wait to take it on a long range, and indoor range is just too short.
