You are not entirely accurate in that; la la land and fagfrancisco are the epicenters of the cancer, but it has been metastasising up the I-5 corridor for many years. As the illegal aliens, gang bangers and the worthless have moved into the cities and towns along that corridor the cancer of the liberal entitlement mentality has spread with them. I see it every time I have to go into any city, even here in the north state. I am unfortunately stuck here, but have the benefit of having retired to a small farm about 80 miles from any major highway or freeway on very poor mountain roads. The lowlifes seem to be partial to the larger towns and cities.
WHERE DID TREASURER BILL GET THE MONEY TO BACK THE WIFE? IS HE THAT WELL-PAID? Treasurer Bill's $1.5 million to his wife's campaign, which allowed her to outspend her opponents. The Tribune newspaper reported it did not endorse Mrs Lockyer because of the thinness of her resume. They interviewed her and examined her glossy campaign literature (paid for by her hubby).

REFERENCE Here's some popular campaign funding frauds:
* Instructing a campaign volunteer to forge the handwriting of campaign donors on donor contribution forms required by the Campaign Finance Board.
* Offering to reimburse an individual for a donation to the campaign.
* Instructing campaign volunteers, and others, not to accept consecutively numbered money orders as donations to evade detection about shady donations.
* Discussing ways to conceal information about bundlers.
* Working closely with bundlers on fund-raising events in which donors were illegally reimbursed for their contributions.
* Impeding investigations by failing to produce subpoenaed records in an apparent attempt to evade detection.

REFERENCE Treasurer Bill has been married since April 2003 to Nadia Maria Davis (an Hispanic Native American.) Lockyer was married twice before, and has an adult daughter four years older than Nadia who is an attorney for NASA.
Lockyer and Nadia have a son, named Diego, born a couple months after they wed.
Nadia Lockyer was elected to the Alameda County Bd of Supervisors Nov 2010 but was forced out after a highly publicized extramarital affair. After Treasurer Bill gave Nadia $1.5 milllion to outspend her opponent, Nadia was elected to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors Nov 2010....and neither of them told voters Nadia was using drugs that she now says were supplied by her husband.
She was in a motel room with her paramour, whom she met in rehab, when Nadia called cops claiming he had assaulted her.
Treasurer Bill's bizarro explanation for his wife's being in a motel room---bedded down with another man......"he and his wife argued so she went to the motel to comfort her suicidal ex-boyfriend" who has a long history of involvement with the criminal justice system. Lockyer said, "her only fault is occasionally having one too many drinks."
Really? I guess I'm just cynical; but, I would predict the exact opposite. CA voters are insane, and they will vote to raise taxes. In the 2010 elections, they had choices to make that would have put their state on a better path. They rejected all other options, and chose to go with the status quo of how the state has been run for years. They seem completely detached from reality.

Really? I guess I’m just cynical; but, I would predict the exact opposite. CA voters are insane, and they will vote to raise taxes. California has rarely voted to raise taxes.
November 2010 voted AGAINST expanded legal marijuana (prop. 19)), passed Citizen Redistricting (prop 20), and defeated Prop 27 backed by Soros, various govt. employee interest groups like SEIU, CA Dem party, etc.
There were no tax measures I could find.
Some GOP candidates did surprisingly well, considering party registration.
CA voters are not insane, they are voting perceived self-interest like voters everywhere.
Their perceptions about self-interest are formed by their demography, various media, etc.
You and I may not like their choices or the factors influencing them, but that doesn’t mean they are insane.
To the contrary they are quite SANE, if sane equals doing the same thing over and over expecting the SAME results.
ie. Takers who want more from government vote for those most likely to give it to them, and they predictably get it.
That may be despicable, but it is also sane.
But they ALSO historically vote against tax increases to pay for it, hence the deficits lately.
Historically there was a Golden Goose in the form of wealthy sucessful companies and taxpayers, but many have left, taking their tax payments with them.
Again the result is recent big deficits.
“Dan Walters isnt always anti GOP and anti Prop 13 and liberal!!!”
About a year ago, aliens must have kidnap Walters and replaced his left wing/anti prop 13 mind/sole with a fair balanced mind.
Many of his opeds since the kidnapping are balanced and go against the left wing bs. I don’t think that he has asked to have prop 13 recalled since the aliens kidnapped him.
“Cold, empty and desolate hinterlands”......it’s true.....we have to eat all newcomers.....unclean!.....unclean!....stay in California!
So MoonBeams predicted $16 billion in debt is a Myth too?Arrogant talk from a Governor who desperately needs more business growth and not less.
Where'd yew git that George Nory story, Grampa??? (grin)
I think he's starting to see the state tilt so far over to the stupid left that he too can hardly believe it and it scares him as well!!! (snarl)
California no doubt has massive problems.
But they pale compared to the federal government which we are all on the hook for.
The federal government is $15 trillion in the hole and adding more than $1 trillion to it a year. California would have to be $1.5 trillion in the hole and adding $100 billion to it a year to be comparable. California is an insignificant piker compared to the federal government.
So you and others that want to look at California and say, “look, Greece on the Pacific” better get a clue. The United States is Greece, not California. Stop pretending all is well wherever you are and that California is the problem. It isn't and we are all sinking into the abyss together regardless of what state you are in.
I agree with everything you say. But was just commenting on the CA situation.
Since I live in Texas, and we are not doing all that bad...I think we need to secede before the rest of the USA goes Greece!
This coming presidential election is the most crucial in the history of the USA. The mind set of this evolved entitlement culture is out of control.
Fake but accurate?
Remember Brown's own Lt Gov, Gavin Newsom, went down to TX with a legislative delegation to meet with Gov Perry and others to find out why businesses have relocated there from CA.
Of course, you can't consider Texas "cold" now, can you, Gil Duran?
