Yep.. the dead tree Milwaukee Journal has been AWOL on Barrett's lack of leadership in Milwaukee for years. They still grind out non stories like the John Doe investigation on former aides to Gov. Walker that are going nowhere, and miss all the MIA's of Tom Barrett.

Case in point... This past week the Milwaukee Police Department held a memorial service for all the police officers killed in duty over the past year. This is an event that should not be missed by the mayor of Milwaukee, but Barrett couldn't bother showing up because he was out "campaigning". (A slap in the face to police officers for Milwaukee.) Scott Walker was in attendance. The Journal/Sentinel never even mentioned the absence of Barrett.

They stopped being a relevant newspaper years ago.

Journal Sentinel weekday circulation down 4%

Weekday circulation for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel declined 4 percent from a year ago and Sunday circulation declined 1.6 percent, according to figures released this week by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
