Newt Gingrich took the stage at the Georgia Republican Party state convention on Saturday wearing a Mitt Romney sticker, focusing his attacks on President Barack Obama and attempting to energize the crowd around his former Republican rival.

"To every conservative, everywhere in America: When your choice on the one hand is Barack Obama, and your choice on the other hand is Mitt Romney, no serious conservative could possibly believe that electing Barack Obama is acceptable ... for America."

I agree. I do like the way she is endorsing and campaigning around the country.

She has shown a realist's pragmatic understanding of how things are done.

Should she run again, she'll have established strong ties and an extensive network of support.

Her star hasn't dimmed. Not one bit. She'll be ready if and when fate should call.

My hope for America does not center on Willard Romney's election to the Presidency. And I have much hope still for our Nation and have not given up on her. So, alas, we disagree.

I disagreed with her October 5th announced decision to not seek the Republican nomination through this primary process. Since then, I’ve changed my mind and feel that I’m learning something from her.

Folks....pick strong conservatives for the House and Senate. Don’t give your support to Romney....it would be a serious mistake. It just ensures the GOPe will continue to rule the GOP and ignore its conservative base.

What you are telling this forum is that conservatives should not oppose Obama and in fact let Obama win and surrender the Presidential election of 2012 to Obama!!

Without any historical precedent you believe a conservative opposition will rise to counteract all that Obama's executive branch can do.

You fail to remember a solidly (R) House in 1998 who impeached a sitting President and 56 (R) Senators who failed to convict him, and that same President who appointed Justices Breyer and Ginzberg to the USSC, and a host of liberal judges to the Districts.

The next President may have as many as 3 appointments. I don't happen to like Romney much myself, but after having made Sotomyor and Kagan appointments, you hate Romney so much, that you want Obama to make possibly 3 more USSC justice appointments, do you?

Posting that you’re content to deal with Obama for the next 4 years while the whole rest of the Forum is working to actively defeat Obama -- and this, while you hope for some pie-in-the-sky opposition to him to emerge, to grow, to survive and to effectively oppose Obama -- is simply naive.

(R)’s work best with (R)’s, and (D)’s work best with (D)’s. If you can’t understand that basic fact, your mind is simply not the most fertile for formulation of and mounting of successful conservative electoral opposition strategy.

Your obligation is to vote actively, not sit passively.

He who gets the most votes wins. If you do not vote, your passive non-vote will have merely elected the winner by default. You appear to be content to elect Obama by default.

If your self-righteousness leads to your expressing hope for Obama to win, as you have done here, all I can say is there is no hope for you in conservatism, and one could not be faulted in wondering where you true sympathies lie.

Know this: Obama has successfully co-opted your support in its passivity, but he doesn't really care what you think or what manner of self-righteousness informs you. Any crafty politician will take his support from where ever he can get it.

You have been Alinsky-ed. You have willfully surrendered opposition to Obama. David Axelrod is surely pleased.

You're as good as reduced to carrying a placard which reads: "Self-rightous for Obama."

In you he has exactly what he wants -- a neutralized opposition that won't fight him and in fact an "opposition" that hopes Obama wins.

And Obama will thank you for that passively co-opted support all the way to voting booth.
