Rumor: Barack Obama's first action as POTUS was to sign an Executive Order sealing all of his records.

Truth:

• Barack Obama's first Executive Order, 13489, was regarding the release of Presidential Records from the National Archives and not his personal records.
• Obama's EO 13489 revoked Bush's EO 13233 on Presidential Records, which revoked Reagan's EO 12667 on Presidential Records.
• The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) stores records and materials created in the course of business conducted by the United States Federal government.
• The National Archivist does not maintain or administer the Hawaii Department of Health vital records or any university transcripts (i.e. Occidental, Columbia, Harvard).

Now that you know the truth, please help dispel this rumor when you encounter it on FR.

There is much confusion on this subject. There are two certification letters sent to Hawaii: one from the Democratic Party of Hawaii (HDP), one from the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

• In 2000, the DNC certification began without the eligibility line but was later added manually by typewritter. The 2000 HDP certification contained the same eligibility line.
• In 2004, the DNC certification did not contain the eligibility line; the HDP certification did.
• In 2008, the DNC certification did; the HDP certification did not.

In 2006, before Obama ever announced he was running for POTUS, the DNC began assuming responsibility for the certification language required by individual states.

Stupid article. No one has questioned whether he has a degree form Columbia, it's how much time he actually spent attending classes there. From the document Taitz secured, it appears he was MIA his entire junior year.

He was probably in Pakistan helping Prof. Brzezinski set up Al-Qaeda. Work-study credit and such.

I have not heard Obama did not attend Colombia except from one article and I can’t remember who wrote it. What I read is Obama release your records.

Reverend Manning’s American Grand Jury found Obama guilty which means little I assume. The theory is Obama transferred from OCCIDENTAL to Colombia as a foreign exchange student and went to Patrice Lumumba in Moscow. He would be a student at Colombia if this was true.

Obama was a marxist at Occidental. I think Axelrod and Ayers are communists. I think it is possible Obama was cleverly positioned to be POTUS around the early 80’s by communists.

Back in 2009 someone came up with a California state list with a numerical summary of all foreign students, by country, attending college back in 1980 or 1981.

On that list there was one or two Indonesians. I can't remember if there were any Kenyans. If Obama got a scholarship, I wonder if it would have been listed in some official document. Maybe just a newspaper. Maybe Columbia produced a list of new foreign students, asking students to welcome them to America.

Here's the story: Team Obama floated the story that when Barry applied to Occidental, he thought the "Where Born" question applied to his Father.

The publisher people unwittingly ... at first ... gave out the same story, indicating that they had gotten the information way back in the 1990s from Occidental, before the records were sealed. They are now calling it a "Fact Checking Error."

Actually, with both Occidental and Columbia records sealed, we are now not to know for sure what is going on.

Team Obama is very adept at floating "trial balloon" explanations in answer to probing questions. If the explanation doesn't fly, it is dropped, or reversed. On day one of the present flap about the 1991 book sales brochure, the first explanation offered was the Occidental application canard. That was quickly dropped in favor of the "Fact Check" scenario.

Team Obama is also supremely adept ... thanks to their Google connection, among others ... at "scrubbing" embarrassing stuff very quickly.

In this case, just check around this site. Further damage control is now underway explaining the African Birth claim in that brochure as mere "sales hype."

Sorry. But internet research on Obama is a shape-shifting minefield. The boy's tracks are well covered.
