In how many american hospitals would a woman who went into early labor would be left in the waiting room after giving birth and then not moved to room immediately...

It's already happening here. You just don't hear about most of it.

My friend's grandmother was brought into the ER while having a stroke a few months ago. She was left in a wheelchair for 13 hours and not given any care while bleeding out from her nose and eyes. She is pretty much fully paralyzed, yet fully conscious as a result. That is more frightening to me than death. I hope he makes them pay dearly.

My other friend was in a car accident a few years ago and was brought into the ER unconscious. They left him waiting for 4 hours with a brain hemorrhage. He is mostly functional now but ended up with some permanent brain damage. I don't think he was able to get a dime from them due to the miles of red tape.

Both of them were brought in by EMTs. If you just come into the ER without them, you will probably be completely ignored..
