According to the butterfly effect, insects flapping their wings on the other side of the globe can affect weather patterns in distant lands at distant times. If it hadn’t been “f-ing cold” and raining that night maybe Martin wouldn’t have been wearing his hoodie, Zimmerman wouldn’t have profiled him for being black and wearing a hoodie, and there would’ve been no fight and no killing.
