New evidence released in the murder case of Trayvon Martin reveals issues that delve more deeply into what happened the night the teen was killed, although it does not seem to shine a brighter light on him or his killer, George Zimmerman.
Martins autopsy shows that he had the drug THC in his system, which is the active ingredient in marijuana, ABC News reported. The autopsy also revealed that the fatal gunshot wound in Martins chest was fired at close range, which may be consistent with other evidence that the two got into a fight of some kind. Zimmerman claimed to police that Martin attacked him and bashed his head into the pavement repeatedly. The autopsy showed a cut on one of Martins fingers, also indicating a struggle.

That there is funny.
Trayvonn’s peeps are sure the lab results are wrong. That thc? More likely high-fructose corn syrup - the white man drug. Mon now!
Stoned to the bone stoned.
Sorry, “THC in his system” is far too vague to make any kind of judgement on Trayvon’s condition at the time of the attack. THC stays in the body for quite some time after the last noticeable effect wears off. He could have smoked up anytime in the three days (or more) prior to the attack and he would still test positive.
It is more evidence that he isn’t the choir boy the MSM wishes he was, but it isn’t damning evidence of his guilt.
THC IS FOUND IN THE BLOOD ONLY FOR TWO DAYS.
See http://www.passyourdrugtest.com/timetable.htm
Even if he was proved positive to have been stoned it wouldn't prove guilt of anything but being stoned. It does prove George Zimmerman was credible when he said Trayvon looked stoned.
I Googled a little bit, and came up with this link/story. About 1/4 of the way into the CNN story, THC and THC-COOH are mentioned. According to this story, were he caught driving in Nevada, he would be "impaired".
Another link, here, seems worthwhile reading regarding THC and THC-COOH levels, impairment, etc.
There may be more, studies and documents, to be found through web searches; but it's late and I'm tired. I'm sure others here will dig around for more info.
a) if Martin had given Zimmerman a chance to do exactly that, maybe so, only Martin apparently didn't give Zimmerman that chance;
b)and Martin had every opportunity to continue on to 'his father's' apartment and report Zimmerman to the police; instead, he apparently decided to seek out and confront Zimmerman himself.
Now that we've gone from 'the father's girlfriend's apartment' to the more emotional 'his father's apartment', I ask again, how many times had Martin been at the complex over the past year and how well did he know or know of Zimmerman and the Neighborhood Watch Program and what were the 'father's apartment' occupants opinions of the NWP?
Lets loose thespeling and grammer polise.
No but drugs go to why zimmerman had good reasson to follow...zimmerman had called in saying the guy was acting strange like he was on drugs...it undercuts martin just being profiled for walkin while black
The left is sticking with its template: Racist white guy killed black choir boy just because he was black.
I think Zimmerman has a good chance of being exonerated, then being murdered by the lynch mob.
All the evidence points to self-defense as you say. The prosecution’s entire case rests on a claim that GZ “provoked” TM into attacking him, secure in knowing he had a gun and therefor the trump card if the fight didn’t go his way. It isn’t “self defense” to provoke someone into hitting you and then shoot them dead.
How do they expect to win without any evidence of the initial confrontation ? Simple. They’ll bring in witnesses who will lie about Trayvon’s good character and GZ’s past comments will be twisted until they sound racist. Then hope a jury will convict him out of fear for their own lives if they acquit him.
You mean the innocent skittle eating little angel?
If the prosecution gets a jury packed with liberals it will be a slam dunk for conviction. Liberals just can’t think beyond their overwhelming bias. Defense lawyers should go over potential jurors with a fine tooth comb.
Loser!
I’m watching the video and clearly I know it just switched to another camera view and I STILL find myself thinking he could pull a gun any second. The body language of the store employee when Martin goes to leave and then turns back... tells me he was thinking about his safety too.
WTF?????\
That may be for one use. However thc can be found in the urine for up to 2 months in heavy users.
The police report.
I did say ‘in the blood.’
