If one ever crashes in my yard can I claim salvage?
Remember what Krauthammer said - the first American to shoot one down will be a folk hero!
INCOMING!
The people in our govt are nothing more than children playing with matches and they are going to burn the house down.
Why is it magically worse if it’s unmanned, instead of a police helicopter or a military Blackhawk?
People and their perceptions are strange.
NATO summit this week- burning leaves out of season next week...
The Bush war on terror created a slippery slope- I agree with enhanced targeting and surveillance of proven enemies; but it takes a very judicious government to walk that tightwire without infringing on the rest of us. We have no such assurance in place at present.
...any Air Bases near Elgin?
..maybe Odungo’s way of taking front pages all across the US ....can’t have people talking about his gay marriage stuff anymore, it’s sinking him
I will not give anything away, so this is intentionally vague.
I live somewhere in the 6 County Chicago metro area. Today I saw CH-47 Chinook flybys. Twice. Never seen them before in this area. Not even during 9-11.
I plan to hunker down . . .
What are the odds that there will be an Obamadrone over Tampa, say in August, 2012?
The film is a fake.
Social media is active with ever-evolving plans for pop-up demonstrations, but a lack of focus and light turnouts have kept events low key.
Here is Saturdays timeline:
Saturday, May 19

Motorcades will bring dignitaries downtown from OHare International Airport, with rolling closures of Kennedy Expressway (I-90) and other major roadways. ...
During NATO my guess would they'd be 'launched' from Midway Airport with an empty Hanger 'commandeered' as a Flight Control Center (Or just grabbed by The Rahmfather and given to the FedGov).
Note: Not that I advocate, advise or approve of what's recently been said about shooting these spy drones down -- but -- it shows why one 'may' need a long rifle in your Gun Locker. ARs, AKs, and Carbines are fine but when you need to 'reach out and touch someone something' a longer barreled rifle is req'd. A Rem 700 to an 'old' Mosin-Nagant, or 8mm Mauser (Yugo or German 98K) can be for more than Deer, Black Bear, or Elk. (just sayin')
A .50 Cal would be definite overkill :-)
I don’t like the idea of these things at all. They are much different from police chopper, because police chopper makes a lot of noise and you know it’s there. If the wife and I are in the back yard late at night, I don’t want some night vision guy peeking at us from a silent drone high in the sky. I expect my privacy and will seek to defend it.
There is no changing perspective to the Predator flying by.

Take a look at his other videos. MisterBees also thinks that three aircraft following each on an obvious upper air route is something to shout about!
