No, he’s unelectable...Cannot be elected...will not be elected...has no prayer...see a trend here?

So, why’s he a joke...you didn’t respond to that one...from his website...wants immediate balanced budget and does not support Ryan plan...BUT wait...believes Social Security and Medicare are critical to our future...”The President and Congress should save Social Security and Medicare for those who have paid and are paying.”

Sorry, your hate of Romney doesn’t enhance the stupidity of Goode which is one of the BIG problems on this website now.

You imagine stupidity can be enhanced?

Now where would you get an idea like that ~ do you hang around with Mittbots perhaps?

That would explain a lot of your stranger beliefs.

I think you are long overdue for a good self-examination ~ maybe even an INTERROGATION.

Take it up with the owner. I'm not telling you not to vote for Romney, I'm just telling you that he's one liberal who won't end up in the white house.

Immediate balanced budget: the only way to balance it. The reality of Washington DC is that if it's done in steps it never gets done. Cutting spending a small amount equals lip service for voters this year, wait a year or two until things quiet down in the news, and then continue on increasing spending at ever-increasing rates.

Social Security for those who have paid in their whole lives: Take a look at your paystub. You will see SS/Medicare are a separate deduction. Federal Income Tax is separate deductions. Everyone who works pays into SS for the purposes of - gee willigers - someday receiving SS benefits if they live long enough.

Now lemme see in my stupid little mind. If I pay into SS - ABOUT 12% OR 13% OF MY PAY - over my lifetime.... DUUUHHHHH.... (drooling....) duuuuhhh... if the government decides to not pay me SS benefits when I reach the age where I can apply.... or maybe they reduce the amount of benefits to about $100 per month.. or say I need to be 75 years old to collect instead of 65.... geee..... hmmmm... what happened to me ?

I WAS RIPPED OFF.

Hmmmmmm..... I'd like to maybe not pay in to SS any more. I'd like to take that 13% of my paycheck and invest it with my cousin in a butcher shop. Wait - I have no choice. Every employer withholds it from my paychecks. No matter where I work - even if I work for myself - I still have to pay it. What about the "rich" guy who has worked, saved and invested so much he can now live off his investments ? No w-2, no SS withholdings. It's a rubes-only tax.

(smell that coffee... mmmm good) now if the SS (OASDI) trust funds hold the accumulated surplus paid in to the fund over the last 80 years or so... and the fund says it has a $2.5 trillion value... I say great ! Then, they tell me it was "invested" in U.S. Treasury debt, so there's almost no cash there, just IOU's from the U.S. Treasury.

(more drool) but boss, where'd the munny go ?

Congress blew it on Federal spending over the last 80 years.

Hmmm... lemme see what's wrong with this picture. Tell citizens that they'll have a SS retirement check. Withhold money from their paychecks for their entire working life. Hmmmmm....

What an ingenious way for Congress to extract more money for them to slosh around spending to get themselves reelected for 80 years. The right hand shows them the Federal Income Tax they're paying and the whole complex IRS code. The working poor (rubes) see LOW FEDERAL INCOME TAX RATES for themselves and they LOVE IT. They smile, they laugh. Gubmint man gibs me free roads and airports with his name on them, bridges, home loans, college loans - Chuck Schumer - he good man - he help me buy my house. Just like dat Jimmy Stewart on da wunderful life ! Yeah ! Meanwhile, the rube-hole does not see the Congressman's left hand that IS taking 13% of his pay. But dat's for my retirement, Social security. No rube, Congressman is spending that too ! Your grandchildren will pay for your retirement. Your grandchildren will be paying 16% or 17% or more for their "retirement", which, of course, will really be paying your retirement, in true ponzi fashion. All along while there were surpluses in SS no one saw any urgency in the situation. Guess what, the day has come when surpluses have ended. The payouts will be made smaller, either through inflation, retirement age, etc., and the withholding rate on the current workers will go up, by either charging each rube more or having more rubes by increaseing the max gross subject to withholding. If inflation has run wild, then $120k really is the new $108k per year, I guess.

Haa ha on rube ! He thinks only the rich pay for all this gubmint graft, like fancy railroad station projects in towns where the rich folks live and big highway projects and real estate deals and solyndras. The Federal gubmint only taxes the rich ! Rube - you're paying your share and you don't know it ! HAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA !!!!! I'm a man of the people !!!!! (stars and strips forever playing...) I'm a man of the people !!!!!!!
