Hubby and I had a lovely dinner. We both had the special, a nice steak with blue cheese and veggies.
I got kind of misty-eyed and mentioned that we’ve had a great life. We always had enough money, and we did a lot of traveling at vacation time. We’ve been all over California, Bodega Bay, Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast, Salt Point State Park, Oregon, Wales, Scotland, England and Scotland from John O’Groats to Lands End, Tintagel Castle, Amberly Castle, Claridges, Hyde Park, Harrods, Portmeirion (where the TV show, “The Prisoner” was shot), The Century Plaza Hotel, the Rock Store in Malibu Canyon on Mulholland Drive, Stunt Road (motorcycle death ride), Cambria, Harmony, Big Bear Lake, Mojave Desert, miles and miles of the Buckeye Trail here in Ohio, Niagara Falls, and on and on.
Now we’re goin’ to the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot, and I couldn’t be happier about that. Hubby and I always have a great time when we’re together. I’m looking forward to the drive - two days in the car with him the whole time. We do get to laughing and talking, and the trip flies past.
Anyway, it was a GREAT dinner.

I had a lovely birthday lunch with my neighbors and husband. I’m still stuffed with Sushi and Sashimi. I’m not yet sure whether I want to go to dinner tonight or not. The lobster sounds wonderful, but maybe I’ll wait for Friday!
I received three cakes from my children!! A vanilla bean, a red velvet and a lime cheese cake. All my favorites. I might stay home and eat a slice of each!
