Come to think of it, I've noticed the same. My wife used to be giddy at getting those coupons in the mail all the time, and used to end up in one of their stores every week. I hadn't noticed her not getting any more coupons, but come to think of it, I don't think we've seen one in a few weeks and she hasn't shopped there recently.

Same here. I liked Penneys for stuff like colored tees to wear with yoga pants, and pajama pants. It was fun to take in one of those coupons and pay two bucks for a pair of pjs. Now, they have some messed-up sales thing that they change every two weeks, and less merchandise on the floor. Also, the tees they sell are all larges and extra larges, with only a few smaller sizes sprinkled in between. Who needs it.

There have not been any coupons since January. They stopped sending out the coupons, and having sales, beginning Jan 2012. I don't understand it either, and, like your wife, I was always happy to get the coupons and would look forward to the sales. Dumb, dumb dumb --- must be an east-coast ivy league collge graduate running things now.
