I knew Goode voted against the bailouts because he was stripped of party funding in that campaign like my congressman was. I believe they stripped Michele Bachmann of funding too but she pulled out a win anyway. My congressman lost by 2% that year but we reelected him in 2010.

Hmmm...Interesting, I have been researching the History of Political Parties, and after what will be a truly shameful election season this year, maybe we can pull something new out of our hats.

Real Conservatives like this Virigl Goode, Sarah and others we could A: take back the GOP (if Mittens hasn't pulled it irrevocably to the left yet) B: get enough Conservatives elected to office, and then the Repub's refuse to support them we jump ship and strike out on our own.
