Gov. George Wallace was the protest candidate of his day (Ron Paul without the peacecreeps) because many saw Humphrey and Nixon as two peas in a pod, just like Obama and Milt. My parents, all my close relatives and all their friends and acquaintances voted for him. I was eight at the time, so I couldn't vote.
