As I’ve said before...

Sometime in the next few years, expect police cars to launch small video-equipped autonomous helicopters when they pull someone over in traffic. These light UAVs will be used to scan the suspect vehicle for persons hiding in the back seat and for weapons in view. They may also be used to acquire a high-resolution face image of passengers.

This UAV will dispatch from a launch bay within the police car, and will hover at the scene acquiring video during the stop.

Why bother with pulling them over, when you can just launch a missile, no need to look inside.
